The True Meaning of Freedom
Later this week, we here in America will celebrate 250 years of freedom as a nation. But while the freedoms we enjoy here are important, there are some freedoms that are even more so. In this week’s sermon, Pastor John Friederich dives into a passage where Jesus speaks of a freedom that only He can provide and explains just what our freedom means in Christ.
The Heart Of A Father
On this Father's Day when we recognize the men who have taken on the role and responsibilities of a father in our lives, we look to the Scriptures to see examples of what a godly father looks like. In this week’s sermon, Pastor John Friederich shows us how the father of the prodigal son exemplifies some attributes of our heavenly father and how it communicates the Gospel at the same time.
The Snake Charmer
June 14, 2026 Morning Service. When John the Baptist was preaching and baptizing one day, he was approached by some religious leaders who indicated an interest in baptism. But the response John gave was not one that they nor we might have expected. In this week's sermon, Pastor John Friederich dives into the motivation behind John's rebuke and uses it as a warning for us today, both for the saved and unsaved. RSSVERIFY. (Luke 3:3-14)
Course Correction
June 7, 2026 Morning Service. As a Christian, when we commit to following Jesus we are agreeing to do things God's way. And while that seems reasonable, we sometimes find that means doing things differently than we would expect to do them. But how do we know what that is? In this week's sermon, Pastor John Friederich takes Joshua's encounter with a heavenly visitor to help us be prepared for those very times. (Joshua 5:13-15)
What Will You Do With Jesus?
May 31, 2026 Morning Service. The story surrounding the resurrection of Lazarus by Jesus is one that demonstrates the ultimate authority and power of Jesus. But how people responded to Jesus after the fact mirror some surprising responses we see even today. In this week's sermon, Pastor John Friederich looks at three different individuals and how they viewed the Savior even after His power was revealed. (John 12:1-11)
Jesus Over The Waves
May 24, 2026 Morning Service. In the Gospels we see a story of a time where Jesus came to the apostles one night by literally walking across the water. And as miraculous as this story might be, we need to understand that His mid-night stroll really wasn%u2019t the focus after all. In this week's sermon, Pastor John Friederich explains the many layers of this passage and the lessons Jesus sought to teach from that eventful night. (Matthew 14:22-33)
I Am - The Sayings Of Jesus
May 17, 2026 Morning Service. One of the most powerful and deep statements we see in Scripture is when God answered Moses' question about what name to tell the people He was. Those two words I AM resonate through eternity and there%u2019s still more to learn about them. In this week's sermon, Pastor John Friederich dives into the times when Jesus Himself uses those same words to expand on it%u2019s meaning. (Exodus 3:13-14)
The A-Z Mother
May 10, 2026 Morning Service. On this special day where we celebrate the mothers in our lives, it's a common thing for pastors to look to Proverbs 31 for an appropriate passage to preach from because of the rich background it gives of a godly mother. In this week's sermon, Pastor John Friederich takes a slightly different approach to these verses rather than looking at them as a simple checklist to follow. (Proverbs 31:10-31)
Here Comes The Judge
May 3, 2026 Morning Service. During Jesus' ministry, those who opposed Him sought several occasions to dismiss and discredit His ministry and message. One of the most famous of those is the woman accused of adultery. In this week's sermon, Pastor John Friederich does a deeper dive into this story to reveal what God wants us to know about His divine justice along side His mercy and grace. (John 8:1-11)
Are You Prepared For War?
April 26, 2026 Morning Service. Last week we looked at the spiritual warfare that rages around us every day and how the leader of the side that opposes God, who we know as Satan, brings the fight to us. But what can we do about it? In this week's sermon, Pastor John Friederich explains the armor and weapons that God has given us to fight with and how we should use them as God intended for us to. (Ephesians 10:13-18)
