Ted keeps trying to do a podcast. What kind of show is this? Ted decides it is a variety show, like the Muppet Show of the 1980s. Meanwhile, back at the ranch the war against the yellowjackets continues. But their time is limited as winter is not that far away. Yes, even in August North Idahoans are thinking about winter. While winter is in the future, Ted treats us to a history lesson. This past weekend was the First Annual (we hope) Bruce Festival. The Bruce was King of Scotland in the early 1300s who won his country's independence from England, after being inspired by William Wallace. Sound familiar? Think Mel Gibson and the movie Braveheart.
