We begin our first season by exploring some well known and well-beloved fairy tales. Enter Sleeping Beauty, a story that has origins dating back to the 16th century. Today, we'll explore a dark and twisted version called "Sun, Moon, and Talia" by Giambattista Basile, and learn a bit more about how this poem was a reflection of society at the time.
