Here I touch on the deterministic nature of thought and matter and how it moves through my mind while using sound as a way to explore the movement of thought and its relationship to attention.Discovering Thought
In this episode of A Map to Nowhere, we explore the nature of thought and awareness. Through personal reflection and a quiet moment beside a mountain stream, the episode examines how thought constantly labels, narrates, and filters our experience, often without us noticing. Using analogies like water, flowing streams, and comets, the discussion invites curiosity rather than judgment toward the movements of the mind. Drawing on insights from David Bohm and his dialogues with Krishnamurti, the episode questions whether we can observe thought without getting carried away by it, and whether inner development can match our outer technological progress. Instead of trying to control or suppress thinking, the listener is encouraged to simply notice how thought arises and shapes perception. This episode continues the journey into meditation, consciousness, and the possibility of seeing life directly, beyond conditioning, effort, and the stories the mind creates. The Beginning
In this episode I begin to explore the topic of thought. Have you thought about thought? Through analogies, personal experience, and an excerpt from a talk by Krishnamurti we begin to look at the depth of our conditioning and whether it is possible for the mind to be free. As always, I'm not offering definitive answers, but an invitation to inquire into the nature of your own experience. Join me as I wander along this path on A Map To Nowhere. The Seeker
This is the first episode and briefly introduces some of the ideas that will be explored on this journey of self-inquiry. Come along and together we will inquire into the nature of thought, consciousness, and the nature of the self.
