Jenny Lang: Transitioning from wellness to wealth, embracing your unique style in business, overcoming rejection, and the emotional side of money conversations.
Guest Bio Jenny Lang is a former Reflexologist, Doula, Reiki Practitioner, and Yoga/Meditation Teacher. Now a mom in her 40s, she transitioned from holistic wellness work (including time in Nunavut) into financial services with WFG after building — and later pausing — her own mindfulness course for moms. Journey to WFG Struggled with motherhood emotions despite her mindfulness background → created a 4-week mindfulness course for busy moms. Hustled it for 1.5 years on social media while living in the Canadian Arctic, but paused due to costs. Reconnected with friend Julie Wannop (WFG), became a client first, then got licensed. Now works with SMD Brent Tyler in Ontario. Mindset & Challenges Self-described overthinker who holds onto rejection. Key moment: A cold outreach led to harsh assumptions about her intentions, triggering deep self-reflection. Strategies: Uses voice notes for authenticity, shifts to webinars/library talks when energy is low, and asks “How can I make this fun for me?” Core philosophy: Honor your unique self in the business — there’s room for you exactly as you are. Standout Quote “It’s about learning how to honor who I am in the business without trying to be exactly like somebody else. And understanding that because I’m not like someone else, it doesn’t mean there’s not room for me here.” Bonus Highlights Big Gabor Maté fan (Hold On to Your Kids, Scattered Minds, etc.) — sees strong parallels with holding space for money trauma. Dream recruit: Gabor Maté. Gained clients through local library financial talks and team webinars. Emphasizes authenticity, energy management, and community events.
