At the bottom, Pisa and Verona are relegated. A tough end for Hellas after seven consecutive seasons in Serie A, while Pisa return to Serie B just one year after promotion under Filippo Inzaghi.

In the race for the top four, Milan, Juventus and Napoli all drop points, allowing Roma to close the gap to just one point behind Juve. Lecce also move four points clear of Cremonese.
