Bridge to the Bay is a podcast dedicated to chronicling Dr. Matt Veras' journey from Cambridge, Canada to the Bay Area in California. Along the way he picked up a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology that allowed him to get hired at Google's Life Sciences company Calico, where he is working on extending human lifespan. This podcast is meant to be a platform to have conversations with Dr. Veras' esteemed colleagues, friends, and more about how they got to their careers, the current state of the world, and how to change it for the better for generations to come.
