Our first guest is Brendan Brest, who has a lived experience of homelessness. Brendan moved house more than 40 times in his lifetime and has worked hard to support himself from a young age. Brendan is a member of Yfoundation’s Youth Homelessness Representative Council (YHRC), where he continues to advocate and address issues that affect children and young people. In 2020 his work was recognised when he won the Youth Action NSW Youth Sector Volunteer of the Year Award.
