Good afternoon. Vermont. I'm Aaron Jolly. That fog clinging to the valleys this morning? Consider it the appetizer. The main course arrives tonight. And it's a mixed bag. In the next 24 hours. Right now we're at 27 degrees with fog still hanging around. Central and Northeast Vermont get the best of today — mostly sunny skies, highs near 40 degrees. That's textbook early March. Southern Vermont? Clouds roll in through the afternoon with rain possible. You'll hit 39 degrees down there. Here's where things get messy. Cold air slides south tonight. That rain in Southern Vermont flips to sleet and freezing rain between 7 P.M. and 1 A.M. Then it switches to snow. A Winter Weather Advisory runs from 5 P.M.
