That gray ceiling at 31 degrees? It's holding its breath. We've got a messy evening inbound, folks. And it's bringing a little bit of everything. Snow pushes in statewide right around 8 P.M. but here's the catch — it doesn't stay snow for long.
In the next 24 hours. Southern Vermont, you're the first to see the switch. Around 9 P.M., that snow turns traitor, flipping to sleet and freezing rain overnight. You'll pick up an inch of snow before the slush takes over. It's a slippery mix down to 28 degrees. The Winter Weather Advisory stays active until 5 A.M. Wednesday, so watch those steps.
