He slightly bald and thin and forty-five, a mild reticent little man named Milton Strong, but Milton is anything but strong. For the past twenty-five years he has worked in the office and now as a bookkeeper is earning the stupendous salary of $35 a week. Milton can’t understand why no one appreciates his ability. Milton has grown a bit sour but he has never had the nerve to ask for a raise, today however is going to be different. His wife has started him out with a lecture and Milton is going to face the boss in a manner both clear and strong.
