The Dark Night of the Soul, though not at all pleasant to move through, is such a beautiful blessing of transformation that happens as we move along the Path to Freedom and Awakening.

This is the space where the old is dying and the new is emerging, only the old hasn't quite dissolved yet, and the new hasn't quite emerged yet, leaving us in a space of confusion and unease.
