We're sitting at 74 degrees under overcast skies, with last night barely dipping to 72. But here’s the twist—this isn't just another warm March morning. Today. Texas splits into two wildly different worlds: one where summer arrives early. And another where spring gets a reality check. Down in South Texas, summer is pulling an early cameo. You'll hit 90 degrees today—that's 47 degrees above normal for early March—with heat indices climbing to 93. But don't get too comfortable. By 3 P.M., thunderstorms roll in, bringing gusty southeast winds at 13 to 16 miles an hour. Tonight, storms stick around, dropping temps to 65 by morning.
