East Tennessee woke up thinking it's April. Middle and West Tennessee? Still firmly planted in February. Here's the deal. If you're anywhere near Knoxville or the Smokies, step outside and enjoy it. Highs hit 60 degrees today. That's nearly 20 degrees above normal for mid-February. Light northeast winds barely whisper. There's a slim chance of a stray shower, but most of you stay dry. Tonight drops to a gentle 42 degrees. And Sunday? Even warmer. You're looking at 62 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Perfect weather for a hike if you ask me.
