This week our guest is Jack Lu of Wanchain. Originally from China, Jack has been living in the United States for quite a while now. He is a graduate of Peking University, worked in the financial industry for several years in China before he came to study Economics and Computer Science at The Ohio State University.

In 2016, he started incubating the idea of Wanchain to solve the interoperability challenge. He did a proof-of-concept and built a platform with Ethereum as the base with cross-chain and privacy added. Then they launched Wanchain in 2017, and the main net launched in January 2018.
