#22 | 191 Marathons In 218 Days: Man’s Incredible Journey Around The UK Coastline - Paul Minter

Rokman Podcast by Terry Rosoman

Episode notes

Paul Minter served 18 years in the British Army as a reconnaissance soldier, completing five tours in Afghanistan and Iraq. After losing 14 friends to suicide - twice as many as those who Paul lost his combat, he felt the need for better mental health support for the Armed Forces had never been higher.

So, Paul set up Head Up Charity along with three other veterans in order to provide a non-militarised retreat centre where Armed Forces can receive holistic and personalised mental health treatment. For the last 7 months, Paul has been running around the entire coastline of the UK - a total of 5000 miles - to raise awareness and funds for the retreat centre.
