We only saw a trace of rain yesterday, but today the trade winds are bringing scattered showers back into the picture. In the next 24 hours. Let's start in Metro San Juan. You're waking up to 75 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Showers become more likely as the day progresses, with a 40 percent chance by afternoon. Highs reach 81 degrees. And hold onto your hats — east winds gust to 28 miles an hour. Tonight, shower chances increase to 50 percent with a low around 76. Head south and it's a warmer story. Southern Puerto Rico starts the day at 72 degrees under mostly clear skies. Sun dominates the morning, then scattered showers develop after noon. Highs climb to 89 degrees. That's toasty.
