The fog lifts by mid-morning. and then you get the payoff. In the next 24 hours. High pressure is sliding offshore, dragging mild southwest air across the state. Once that fog clears, you're looking at a genuinely pleasant afternoon. Central Jersey tops out at 51 degrees under mostly sunny skies. North Jersey hits 48. South Jersey reaches 47. Not bad for late February. Tonight, an arctic front sweeps through. No drama, no precipitation. Just a clean sweep of cold air. Lows drop to 30 degrees up north, 32 central, 35 south.
