Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly. And welcome to the Michigan Weather Podcast. It's Wednesday, February 25th. And that clipper system left us a little parting gift overnight. Three tenths of an inch of fresh snow. Doesn't sound like much.. But it's enough to make your morning commute interesting. Folks, take it slow out there. Now let's talk about what you're walking into. Up north, lake effect snow bands are already cranking. Snow showers likely from 5 A.M. through noon, peaking around 5 A.M. with about an inch possible. Highs hit 24 degrees early around 5 A.M., then temperatures slide backward to 12 by 5 A.M. Winds shift west to northwest around 6 A.M., gusting to 15 miles an hour by 7 A.M.
