Folks, enjoy the quiet right now. Every corner of Michigan is sitting at 33 degrees. Same temp, same overcast sky. It's almost eerie. Because by midnight, this state splits into three very different winter stories.
Here's the deal. Down in Southeast Michigan, snow sneaks in just after midnight and hangs around until 5 P.M. Sunday. You'll hit 40 degrees by 5 P.M. tonight. Then temperatures nosedive to 32 by 2 A.M. Winds out of the west at 7 miles an hour make that feel more like 25. Sunday stays sloppy with light snow and gusts up to 24 miles an hour.
