And now we've got northwest gusts hitting 40 miles an hour across most of the state. Wind Advisories are up statewide through this evening. These gusts are snapping limbs, especially where yesterday's rain left the ground soft. Secure your trash cans. Check your patio furniture. If you're driving anything tall, grip that wheel tight. Now the temperatures. This is where it stings. Down along the coast near Savannah, you're topping out around 57 degrees near noon.
