The coast woke up thinking it's May. Atlanta woke up thinking it's still January. Here's the deal. Down in coastal Georgia, you're hitting 81 degrees this afternoon. That's nearly 20 degrees above normal for mid February. Soak it in. Southwesterly winds at 6 to 10 miles an hour keep things comfortable. But showers are likely rolling in later, so don't leave the umbrella behind. Tonight you're settling into the mid 60s. Still gorgeous. Now drive inland to Metro Atlanta. Completely different story. You're topping out around 55 degrees under stubborn clouds. Rain is likely here too. Lows tonight hang in the upper 40s. Tomorrow brings a nice rebound into the mid 60s though. Over in ...
