Following a website\u2019s RSS feed gives you the opportunity to stay up-to-date on everything that website publishes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re like most people and are too busy to check every website you like on a daily basis, an RSS feed is a great way<\/b> to make sure you don\u2019t miss out on content from your favorite publishers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether that\u2019s a section of a news website, a favorite blog, or something else, you can make sure you don\u2019t miss out on new content that interests you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are a variety of ways to search for and find a website’s RSS Feed URL. And, once you have found the RSS feed, you can add one or several<\/b> to an RSS feed reader to see the latest updates of your favorite website(s).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>1. WordPress RSS Feeds<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

WordPress powers about 43.2%<\/a> (a total of 708 million websites) of the entire internet, so if you\u2019re trying to find the RSS feed of a WordPress website, all you need to do is add \/feed\/ to the end of the website\u2019s URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Example: https:\/\/ExampleWordPressWebsite.com\/feed\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will take you to the RSS feed, as long as the website is powered by WordPress<\/b>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What if the website it isn\u2019t powered by WordPress? You only wasted about 2 seconds, and can try another way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>2. The RSS Logo<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The standard orange RSS logo pictured below is a dead giveaway. If you see this on a website, simply click on it, and it will take you to the website\u2019s RSS feed. From there, you can get the RSS feed URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/span>3. Find the RSS Feed URL Through the Page Source<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Looking at the HTML source of the website\u2019s page will also give you the RSS feed\u2019s URL<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right click on the website\u2019s page, and choose Page Source. In the new window that appears, use the \u201cfind\u201d feature (Ctrl + F on a PC or Command + F on a Mac), and type in RSS. You\u2019ll find the feed\u2019s URL between the quotes after href=.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being able to follow your favorite websites<\/b> through an RSS feed reader will free up so much time. You\u2019ll stop bouncing around from web page to web page, looking for all the pieces of the information you love, and instead have everything you want organized in one easy place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
