This could take 24 hours or up to a couple of days.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-get-your-podcast-on-google-home\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"how-to-get-your-podcast-on-google-home\"><\/span>How to Get Your Podcast on Google Home<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"How To Get Your Podcast On Google Play Device\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/Google-home.jpg\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your podcast is approved to be on Google Podcasts, is it automatically added to Google Home and Google Assistant for voice search? According to our research, the answer is yes, but with some caveats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/googlenest\/answer\/7072800?hl=en\">Here\u2019s what Google had to say<\/a> on the matter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith Google Nest and Google Home speakers and displays, you can listen to your favorite podcasts and shows from anywhere in your home \u2014 using only your voice. This feature is available in English only.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The catch? You\u2019ll have to ask Google Home (aka Google Assistant) to play the podcast name, not a specific episode number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, you can say &#8220;Hey Google, play podcast.&#8221; And, on Google Home devices you can say phrases like &#8220;Next episode,&#8221; \u201cPrevious,\u201d and \u201cListen to the latest episode of .\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What you can\u2019t say is phrases like \u201cHey Google, play number 241,\u201d or &#8220;Hey Google, play my Spotify podcast.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/googlenest\/answer\/7072800?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to Google<\/a> the reason for this is two-fold. First, available podcasts aren&#8217;t technically listed within the Google Home app at the current time. This could change in the future, and we\u2019ll update this post when that happens.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second, partner podcast players, like Spotify, TuneIn, and even Google Podcasts are also currently not supported. That is why if you want to hear a specific podcast using Google Home\/Assistant you should simply ask for the podcast you would like to hear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-don-t-stop-there-you-re-on-a-roll\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"dont-stop-there-youre-on-a-roll-%f0%9f%8e%b2\"><\/span>Don&#8217;t Stop There, You&#8217;re on a Roll! \ud83c\udfb2<span
