It will also&nbsp;help establish you as an expert\/authority in your niche.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More listeners can mean <b>more sponsors and money<\/b> from advertisers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-begin-with-repurposing-as-your-goal\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"begin-with-repurposing-as-your-goal\"><\/span>Begin With Repurposing As Your Goal<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The entire premise of repurposing your podcast is to work efficiently and for you to hit your goals faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this in mind, it\u2019s best to record every podcast episode with the intention to repurpose.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some considerations to make your recording session and subsequent repurposing easier:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When recording for Tiktok and\/or Instagram, make sure to film your podcast vertically<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>While recording have your phone or another camera strategically placed filming vertical shots that you can edit into bite-sized nuggets for social<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To add your podcast to Youtube, make sure to film your episode horizontally<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can use a webcam or a DSLR to do this<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write down extra questions for your guests that are intended for social media, exclusive use for a platform like Patreon, or other outlets so you don\u2019t have to chase them down later<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Film and record your promotional content at the same time as your podcast so you don\u2019t have to re-setup later<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have transcription enabled while recording (if you\u2019re using Zoom) so you can easily create an eBook or blog content from the recording session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you understand why you should be repurposing your podcast episodes, here are 6 ways you can easily do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-turn-your-episodes-into-blog-posts\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1-turn-your-episodes-into-blog-posts\"><\/span>1. Why?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transcribing your audio into text, <a href=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/blog\/how-to-embed-podcast-into-website\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">embedding an audio player<\/a>, and publishing your episodes on your website provides you with another opportunity to reach news audiences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start by transcribing your episode&#8217;s audio file, then make that post SEO friendly by performing keyword research and optimizing your titles, headings and writing a compelling description.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Embed an audio player for your episode and additionally add a link back to your podcast episode in the post. Newsletters and Email Campaigns<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you already have an email list, or even if you\u2019re just starting to build one, you can repurpose your episodes as a newsletter or eblast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pull the best quotes, facts, and truth bombs from your shows, add some graphics, a link to your podcast\/episode and voila! Write an eBook\/ Develop a Course<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have several podcast episodes under your belt, you\u2019ll start to feel like the expert that you are. <b>Why not repackage all that brilliance into one eBook or digital course<\/b> to give your audience another way to consume your content, and give yourself a new source of revenue?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Author and life hacker Tim Ferriss famously did this with his book <a href=\"https:\/\/tim.blog\/2016\/10\/25\/tools-of-titans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tools of Titans<\/a>. He quite literally repurposed more than 200 podcast interviews into a monster book. While he said that it featured a lot of content that was new, he was already <a href=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/blog\/how-to-be-a-great-podcast-guest\/\">putting in the work by doing the interviews<\/a>, and took the stuff that didn\u2019t make it on-air, along with a bunch of what did, and created a massive resource for his audience.
