I wanted to record my experience of losing weight and getting serious about fitness. July 14, 2025 is when I embarked on this crazy ride, and 100 days later on October 22, 2025 is when I launched the podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I confess, I didn\u2019t really tell anyone about it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The big reason? Imposter syndrome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though I\u2019ve been podcasting since 2020 with my <a href=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/podcasts\/bloggyfriendsshow\/\">Bloggy Friends Show<\/a>, no one knows me as a fitness creator of any kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second biggest reason? Well, to be honest, it\u2019s really scary to put it out there that you\u2019re trying to lose weight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the beginning, I was just recording voice notes on my phone during my short commute to and from the gym simply to remember what was happening along the way. And, people started talking to me at the gym saying that they were following my social media posts that I\u2019d been sharing to hold myself accountable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When that happened, it felt like I should share the podcast with more folks outside the gym, and tell the world I had launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The spark to go full throttle with promoting it though came when my instructor agreed to let me interview her. I went to <a href=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/\">RSS.com<\/a> in my Chrome browser.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To create an account, all you need to do is enter an email address, create a password, and then confirm your email address to create an account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. With my account, I created my new podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Then, I used the Adobe Podcasts site in the mobile Chrome browser to enhance the audio recording I did with my voice recorder. Adobe Podcasts is how I \u201cmask\u201d the fact I\u2019m recording in my car and make it sound like I\u2019m recording in a podcast studio!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not a secret though. I have told my audience many times that I am recording from my phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. All that was left after that was to upload my first episode to RSS.com, and voila! I was so excited (and still am!) about how ridiculously easy it was to create a podcast with just my phone from my car. I only record 5-10 minute episodes, but I could easily see myself recording longer episodes, and still having the same awesome results!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can do this too. I don\u2019t have the newest phone either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My \u201csmartphone\u201d is a good six years old. So, if I can with an older phone, I\u2019m certain anyone can do this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I admit, there was a little bit of a learning curve figuring out how to use Canva and Adobe Podcasts on my phone. Those tools are much easier to use on my computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the RSS.com website? I\u2019ve been trying to get better about this, however.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m finally sharing it more on social media and I\u2019m doing all the things RSS.com suggests for promoting a show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are just a few of the things I\u2019ve done since launching my show:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Wrote a blog post for every episode on my website, and <a href=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/blog\/rss-com-enhanced-podcast-embed-player\/\">embedded the relevant episode<\/a> into each blog post for easy listening<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Related:<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/blog\/how-to-repurpose-your-podcast\/\"><em> <\/em><em>How to Repurpose Your Podcast into Other Content<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 Shared the video version of the podcast using PodViz. You <em>can<\/em> technically use PodViz for free and <a href=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/podviz\/\">create an audiogram of your latest episode here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, I highly recommend upgrading to an RSS.com paid plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upgrading to a paid plan does two things:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. I also embedded links to all episodes that are live. They have pop filters on them, and combined with Adobe Podcasts, it\u2019s hard for me to tell I\u2019m recording on the go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m sure true audiophiles can tell, but it\u2019s working for me so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-it-s-time-to-launch-your-podcast-for-free\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"its-time-to-launch-your-podcast-for-free\"><\/span>It\u2019s Time to Launch Your Podcast for FREE<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I launched my show completely for free.
