Labeling a YouTube playlist as a podcast feels like a shortcut, but it leaves you locked into one platform. If YouTube goes down, gets glitchy, or changes its rules, that content is unreachable until it&#8217;s fixed. It will appear gray as opposed to purple indicating the feature is not yet active.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To activate RSS.com&#8217;s &#8220;Publish to YouTube&#8221; feature, we need to select the &#8220;Distribution&#8221; tab in the top navigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the &#8220;Distribution&#8221; tab, scroll down until you see &#8220;Publish to YouTube&#8221; where we will link up our YouTube channel with our RSS.com account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"how to link your youtube and rss.com accounts\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Screenshot-2023-10-16-2.42.54-PM-1024x552.png\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you&#8217;ve linked the two accounts, you can select a specific playlist (ideally the one you&#8217;ve designated as a podcast) and the visibility and audience status of all new episodes that we&#8217;ll convert to video and upload to YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udca1 RSS.com uses its <a href=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/podviz\/\">PodViz technology to convert audio-focused episodes into engaging videos<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"youtube is video made for kids\" class=\"lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/rss.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Screenshot-2023-10-16-3.37.54-PM-1024x552.png\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"h-is-your-podcast-made-for-kids\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"is-your-podcast-made-for-kids\"><\/span>Is Your Podcast Made for Kids?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is your podcast made for kids?
